I’m sure you have already heard it from me plenty of times.
Strength training is the best way for you to reach any and all of your fitness goals.
This is due to many reasons that we could discuss and make this long and drawn out.
Let’s just name a few really quick.
Strength gives you the ability to move pain free.
Strength training builds more muscle which helps burn more calories.
Strength training leads to more energy.
I am not saying that you should not do cardio or that cardio has no place (it does). What I am saying is that if you want to reach any of your fitness goals strength training needs to be a part of your fitness program.
Find a good fitness program that fits your needs and follow it exactly how it is written.
